Carrie Underwood Ties Reba's Number One Count




(Undated) -- Carrie Underwood's latest rise to the top of the Billboard Country Songs chart is putting her in at the top of another list as well. Billboard.com says she's now tied with Reba McEntire for the most number one singles among solo female country performers over the past 20 years. Both Underwood and McEntire have logged ten chart-toppers since Billboard began compiling its surveys based on Nielsen BDS data back in January 1990. Underwood is currently perched in the peak position on the chart with her hit "Undo It."
Underwood and McEntire are in tenth place among all country artist, in a three-way tie that also includes Rascal Flatts. George Strait has had the most number one hits over the past 20 years with 26, while Alan Jackson is hot on his heels with 25. Tim McGraw is third on the list with 23 number one singles.
